    NEW MILLENNIUM WEBSITE LAUNCHED

  • This week the long awaited new EM4 Solutions website was launched. The site focuses all its energies on the current major issue facing IT managers - The Euro. The site at http://www.ms400.com details features on all Euro issues, such as How to prepare an Organisation for the Euro and is a useful resource for Euro information and links. The site is currently available in French, German and Italian.

    • MILLENNIUM LAUNCHES NEW EM4 ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN

  • A new and exciting advertising campaign got underway this month with advertisements in all the major European AS/400 magazines. The adverts carry an endorsement for EM4 by Ciba who are already live with EM4 in all their European sites. This campaign is titled "Think Euro, Think EM4".

    • MILLENNIUM C.T.O. MR. BILL CHISHOLM WRITES FOR NEWS/400.UK

  • Bill Chisholm (bill@ms400.com) has been featured in News400.uk magazine's March edition. His article concerns itself with issues involved in preparing an organisation for the new Euro currency. Chisholm examines the impact of the Euro on both the IT and finance departments, and how to ensure that your organisation achieves compliance within the EMU regulations. He discusses the issues that are known to arise, implementation procedures, and roles & responsibilities involved in Euro-enabling any AS/400 application. (http://www.news400.co.uk/)

    • EM4 DATABASE CONVERSION PILOTS COMPLETED AT VARIOUS AS/400 SITES AROUND EUROPE

  • Leo Laboratories, Ireland is an example one one of many AS/400 sites who have completed a successful pilot of EM4 Database Conversion. Gerry Ryan, IT Manager, Leo Labs said "The two day EM4 database conversion pilot was very successful. We learned greatly from the pilot, and now we want to keep the momentum going within our organisation to ensure total Euro conversion by the end of quarter one 2001"

    • CIBA COMMENCE PHASE TWO OF EURO PROJECT

  • CIBA will instigate phase two of their EM4 Euro Project in March. The Euro Implementation team will visit Millennium's Dublin office on March 14th to commence work on the database conversion stage of their Euro project. CIBA have installed EM4 Triangulation in all their European AS/400 sites.

    • GERMAN AS/400 VENDOR SOU SYSTEMHAUS SIGNS RE-SELLER AGREEMENT

  • Millennium this month signed an additional distributor in Germany, SOU Systemhaus, to better address strong demand for EM4 from among the AS/400 community in the Euro-zone. "The addition of these new business partners allows us to reach more AS/400 users in Germany and increases the number of trained service providers implementing our Euro solution," says Brian Dalton, Sales & Marketing Manager, EM4 Solutions.

    • 1999 MS4 SALES TOP USD$3.5 MILLION

  • Millennium have released their financial figures for 1999. The highlight of which was the global extension of its Blue Chip Client base. Manus Bray, C.E.O.said "1999 was a difficult year as our Y2K division began to slow down, however we have been greatly encouraged by the number of MS4 clients who have come back to us to purchase our Euro solution EM4. We are now clearly the global leader in the provision of Euro solutions and rapidly becoming a leader in the provision of B2B business solutions."

    • MCOM FEATURES ON SUN MICROSYSTEMS SOLUTIONS CD

  • Mcom will feature on Sun Microsystems CD. The Sun CD will reach more than 150,000 Java(tm) & Solaris(tm) users! It will be included in the JavaPro July 2000 edition. The distribution of 40,000 includes subscribers and JavaOne attendees.     • SerCom Solutions AVAIL OF MCOM's B2B FUNCTIONALITY

  • Millennecom is currently developing an application for SerCom Solutions (Scotland), a leading global supply chain management supplier, which will integrate with their existing fulfilment & ERP application, to provide value both to their organisation and to their customers. The application will provide SerCom Solutions with the ability to query their open customer orders remotely introducing time and cost savings.
