Year 2000 Business Continuity Audit

You can now avail of a free Y2K Business Continuity Health Check at no cost.

The EM4 Solutions Business Continuity Audit is an analysis of your AS/400 database environment followed by a detailed report indicating the level of compliance the the sample AS/400 application has achieved. Non-compliant date fields on the database files will be identified and the usage of these fields within programs will also be detailed.

Requirements

In order to perform the Sample Audit Exercise on any ERP software package, you need to compile the following information on to an AS/400 quarter-inch tape:

no more than six commonly used database files and all their associated logical files (Objects only). The files should contain sample data of no more than 50,000 records.
No more than 10 RPG programs that use the above files (Sources and Objects).
Device files for the above programs (Sources and Objects).

In order to perform the Sample Audit Exercise on a BPCS environment, you need to compile the following information on to an AS/400 quarter-inch tape:

Database files ECH, ECL, SIH, SIL, ITH, RAR and all associated Logical Files (Objects only). The files should contain sample data of no more than 50,000 records.
RPG Programs ACR500, ACR300, ORD500, BIL640, INV500, INV920 (Source and Objects).

Expected Results

The Audit process takes approximately one day. You will receive a report detailing the status of the sample data provided in respect to Year 2000 compliance.
