bioMerieux Japan appraise MS4.

When bioMérieux, Vitek Japan, was looking for a solution to their Millennium problem they had four options available to them - BPCS v.6, BPCS v.4.05 CD, a new enterprise application or MS4. Their primary goal was to find a cost effective solution that could be completed quickly and with minimum impact on their systems. For these very reasons they chose the double-byte version of MS4.

According to Mr. Yamaguichi, Millennium Project Manager, "There were no worries about being the first site in Japan because MS4 has already been successfully installed in many sites throughout the world. The surprising thing was to complete not only the programmes but also the data conversion in just one week. The countdown for Y2K has started but bioMérieux should be safe now".
